“AlManarah Podcast” is a radio project in Nazareth. It was set up in October 2018 as a non-profit to serve as a mouthpiece for people with and without disabilities in Arab society — to make their voices heard and to empower them socially and professionally.
The podcasts are recorded in studio, and are constructed akin to high quality radio and television programs dealing with cultural, social, medical and economic issues. Most broadcasts are recorded in Arabic, but a select few are also available in Hebrew and English.
“AlManarah Voice” expands listeners ‘and viewers’ horizons via in-depth interviews with experts and trailblazers from Arab society, conversations with leading writers in their fields, musicians who have made their mark in Arab society, world historical events, and children’s programs. Programs are often recorded youth with disabilities for people with disabilities, and some of our recordings are intended to create a close relationship between Arabs for Jews, and have been empowering people with disabilities since the studio’s inception.
